How it works

From group setup to settled bills.

KudiGrid makes shared-power billing clear, fair, and transparent — from the first meter reading to the last receipt.

01

Create a power group

Name your group, pick a type (compound, estate, shop plaza, family house, etc.), set your location, and choose your power source — generator, solar, inverter, DisCo/PHCN, or mini-grid.

02

Add members

Invite members by email. They receive an invite and join the group. Each member is linked to their unit, shop, or flat within the group.

03

Publish a Power Agreement

Draft your group's Power Agreement — the billing method, admin margin (if any), agreed split percentages, and group rules. All members must accept before any billing cycle begins. No hidden charges.

04

Choose your billing method

If reliable individual sub-meters exist, use meter-based billing — bills are calculated from actual usage readings. Without individual meters, choose agreed split (fixed percentages) or contribution-only tracking. Your members agree on the method upfront.

05

Record readings, expenses, payments and evidence

Submit meter readings with timestamped photo evidence. Log diesel, repair, or service expenses with receipt photos. Members pay and upload proof. Every action is timestamped and stored.

06

Members see the shared ledger and can raise disputes

All bills, payments, and expenses are visible to every member in the shared ledger. Any member can raise a formal dispute on a bill, reading, or expense — and the resolution is recorded permanently.

Important note

KudiGrid is a billing and record-keeping platform. We do not sell electricity, supply power, install meters, wiring, generators, solar panels, or any electrical equipment. Please engage a qualified electrician for any physical installation work.
